Instead of diving into our services on this page, we want to explain what our role is, as a consultant. Often we work with companies and there is an initial learning curve, because we are outsiders coming into an organization and looking for areas to improve. We want to make this process as smooth as possible, so we present to you an explanation of what we do, as consultants.

What is a Consultant?

A Consultant is an independent professional with years of experience and success in their particular field.

How do you know if a Consultant is any good?

Google them!  Stalk their Linked In profiles and see their recommendations.  Each Consultant has a different personality and way of working with clients.  Choosing a Consultant is also a personal preference.  You have to be able to work together to attain success.

How do you hire a Consultant?

Consultants require a contract with each client and depending on project may require a deposit or retainer.

How long do you need a Consultant?

Consultants are here to support your initiatives.  Some are hired for specific projects and some can remain in the background guiding your executive team for years.

How many clients can a Consultant support at once?

A Consultant will typically work 40-50 hours per week and depending on projects can support anywhere from 1 to 6 clients at a time.

How many clients from the same industry can one Consultant support?

Our clients sign a Non-Disclosure with our Consultants and we will not work with numerous clients of the same industry in the same market.  Some of our Consultants do not prefer to work within particular industries.

What is it like to work with a Consultant?

Consultants are used to obtain a higher overview of your struggles and offer a strategy to overcome them.  Usually the client will need to implement the strategy.  This is where using a Consultant can fail.  If you do not do the work or have the time to implement change all the advice is the world will not help.

How do you pay a Consultant?

Consultants charge an hourly fee and invoices are submitted weekly to each client.  Invoices can be paid online with major credit cards or checking accounts through our Quickbooks accounting system.

How much does a Consultant cost?

Consultants range in price per hour depending on the type of consulting requested.  There are also onsite day and weekly consulting rates.  If a Consultant is required to be onsite with your team, you will be responsible for all Consultants travel expenses in addition to the consulting fee.

When do Consultants work?

We realize that small business owners are strapped for free time and do our best to be available to all of our clients at a mutually agreeable time.  Emails are responded to promptly and calls are scheduled ahead of time. If you schedule a call with a Consultant and cancel with less than 6 hours notice you will be charged a minimum of 1 hour of consulting time. Emails and text messages are all billable consulting time.
